HRC NEWS BANGLA :- ANGEL Nabajiban Welfare Society, a popular NGO, had organized “ALPIN” – TRANSGENDERS Talent Show at Eastern Metropolitan Club on 30 July. The glitzy show was curated by SANGITA SINHA, internationally acclaimed Beauty Queen & Actress and Founder of ANWS. This was a perfect platform to showcase the potential of 20 Transgenders who have thus got a foothold in the Entertainment World. The Jury Panelists of ALPIN (Trans Talent Hunt) included renowned personalities like Devika Mukherjee, Papia Adhikary, Sohini Sanyal, Prasanta Saha, Madhabilata Mitra & Samrat Mukherjee.
The Guests of Honour included dignitaries like Madan Mitra, Baisakhi Banerjee, Sovan Chatterjee, Keya Seth, Suchetana Shayari & others. During the glittering eve, a host of colourful personalities also launched poster of a short film – ALPIN TO QUEEN. This movie, presented by Sangita Sinha, is written and directed by Asish Basak. It focuses on the struggle and achievements of Transgenders and will involve the best talents selected from the mega show.
